The New Hampshire Music Festival celebrates The Joys of Youth on July 17 and 18 at 8:00 p.m. as they showcase the grace and artistry of Korean violinist, Ju-Young Baek performing Sibelius' romantic Violin Concerto. Ms. Baek, winner of the International Sibelius Violin Competition and the 2000 Young Concert Artists' International Auditions, has thrilled audiences around the world. Her performances have been called "emotionally charged, heartfelt and powerful," by The Strad.
The Festival Orchestra, led by conductor Paul Polivnick, will also present the exhilarating overture to Rossini's The Barber of Seville and Mendelssohn's charming Italian Symphony. This week's concert is sponsored by Bridgewater Power Company and VUTEk.
