MEREDETH — The Class of 1966 at Inter-Lakes High School recently celebrated their 50th reunion with a weekend of festivities in early June. A highlight of the celebration was the class representatives attending the 92nd Annual Alumni Brunch sponsored by the Meredith/Inter-Lakes Alumni Association.
The Alumni Association awards scholarships each year and most recently established the Marjorie E. Lee scholarship in honor of Miss Lee who has been a long-time, dedicated educator in the Inter-Lakes school system and fondly remembered by the Class of 1966.
The Class of 1966 Reunion Committee gathered recently to present the $1,000 check on behalf of the 50th reunion of the class from monies collected during the event. These monies will be used to fund the Marjorie E. Lee Scholarship for future graduates. The check was presented to Ann Sprague, president of the Alumni Association, together with Miss Marjorie Lee. The committee members proudly presented the large check courtesy of Anatole "Annie" Paquette of Paquette Signs and member of the Class of 1966.
