Harris Family Furniture is making it ‘stressless’ to give this holiday season. From December 1- 31 consumers will receive $200 off the purchase price of a Stressless brand recliner from Ekornes Inc. when they donate a minimum of $50 to the New Hampshire Food Bank. The company will also match each individual donation, up to $50, made with the purchase of a new chair.

The New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of N.H. Catholic Charities, has been feeding the hungry in the state since 1984. As the only food bank in the state, it serves as a distribution center to a network of 370 registered agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens, children’s programs and senior centers. Year to date, the Food Bank has distributed over 4.4-million pounds of food

“This is a great way to help others while also giving yourself or someone you love the gift of ultimate comfort this season,” said Jack Harris. “With Ekornes’ Stressless ergonomically-designed seating, you can create a ‘stressless comfort zone’ in the privacy of your own home.”

Bill Harris the president of Harris Family Furniture said that “The New Hampshire Food Bank is an important resource in New Hampshire. For every one dollar donated they are able to provide four meals to hungry recipients”

The company has three stores located in Plymouth, Laconia (Union Ave.), and Chichester. It is a fourth generation company founded in 1965 and offers free delivery through most of New Hampshire. For more information visit www.harrisfamilyfurniture.com
