The Happy Hobby Doll Club will present its 20th annual doll show and sale on Sunday, June 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Prospect Mountain High School, 242 Suncook Valley Rd. (Route 28) in Alton. Adult admission is $3.00, however, bring a nonperishable food donation, per adult, for the food pantry and receive a $1.00 discount. Admission for children under 12 is $1.00.

This year's featured guest is John R. Burbidge, former bridal designer for the famous Priscilla of Boston Salon. He will share a selection of his 29" mannequins dressed in authentic costumes of the Victorian and Edwardian periods. These exquisite gowns, designed and produced by Mr. Burbidge, are also the subject of his book, Les Petites Dames de Mode (The Little Ladies of Fashion), which he will be happy to sign.

The doll show will include free appraisals, door prizes, free parking and over 50 additional dealers. Lunch will be available on the premises. The Happy Hobby Doll club members have built and decorated a log cabin doll house, with a hunting cabin theme, which will be raffled at the doll show.
