GILMANTON — Gilmanton Old Home Day Association will be holding its first organizational meeting of 2014 on April 17 at the Smith Meeting House at 7 p.m.

All organizations are welcome to send representatives to discuss their plans for Old Home Day.

The agenda will be strictly followed, beginning promptly at 7 p.m. and ending before 8 p.m.

Subcommittees will be formed to carry out the efforts of the different components for the day's events; cooking, displays, antique auto parade, special demonstrations, children's games and our all-time favorite tug of war and as always our famous bean hole dinner.

We will have a live band throughout the day.

The Old Home Day Association will meet the third Thursday from now until August to plan the 116th Old Home Day.
