The Eastern League Champion New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, are now selling single game tickets for the upcoming 2005 regular season. Tickets went on sale online at 10 a.m. yesterday through the team website, nhfishercats.com. Over 1,100 tickets were sold within the first two hours of tickets being on sale.
Opening Day and home games against the Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, were the hottest sellers on the first day of single game ticket sales. Opening Day will mark the inaugural of the Fisher Cats brand new riverfront ballpark in downtown Manchester, as they take on the New Britain Rock Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 6:35 p.m. It will also mark the Fisher Cats first game since winning the 2004 Eastern League Championship over the Altoona Curve on September 18, 2004.
Single game tickets will be available for phone orders and walk-up sales beginning Monday, February 14, 2005 at 10 a.m. Phone orders can be placed by calling (603) 641-2005 and tickets can be purchased in person at the Fisher Cats offices at 1000 Elm Street in downtown Manchester.
