GILFORD — A dining-out benefit is being planned to help a local family struggling to pay its bills following a serious accident.
The event to help Michelle Maslanka and her family will take place Sunday, Oct. 5, through Thursday, Oct. 9, at Patrick's Pub and Eatery.
Maslanka and her 6-year-old daughter where involved in a traffic accident on July 22. The daughter was released that evening from the hospital. However, Maslanka is recovering from a broken neck and her colleagues at Awakening Chiropractic in Tilton wanted to help her and her family reduce stress by providing financial assistance to them.
Those who wish to help can do so by dining at Patrick's Oct. 5 through Oct. 9, and telling their server they are there to help the Hook/Maslanka Family. Patrick's will then donate 25 percent of the bill to the family.
Organizers said they are very grateful to Patrick's their support of the effort to help the family.
