Citizens Bank customers helped make the season brighter for children at Spaulding Youth Center by selecting ornaments on Holiday Giving Trees displayed in Citizens Bank branches in Franklin, Laconia and Meredith. Each ornament had the first name, age, and holiday wish for a child at Spaulding Youth Center. The ornaments were designed by Spaulding Youth Center students; some ornaments were made with paper handmade by youth with autism.
This special holiday effort was organized by a group of Lakes Region volunteers, known at Spaulding Youth Center as “The Angels,” in partnership with Citizens Bank employees, some who are also “Angels.” Santa Claus delivered the gifts to Spaulding Youth Center students at holiday parties. For youngsters who will not be able to go home for the holidays, The Angels and Santa Claus will make a special trip to Spaulding Youth Center on Christmas Day.
