Christmas tree sale to benefit local football team

The Friends of Belmont Football invites all from Belmont and surrounding communities to find the perfect tree at their 5th Annual Christmas Tree Sale at the Gates Farm on Laconia Road ( Route 106 near Country Kitchen Bread Outlet) in Belmont. Trees will be available Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 7 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 4-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, depending upon weather and the volume of business. If evenings are busy, the hours will be extended. This sale will continue until all the trees are sold.

This year, two varieties of trees from northern New Hampshire will be available, including Balsam fir, and a hybrid Fralsam fir. Additional smaller trees were ordered this year (5-6 feet) and all the trees are very healthy and full. This group aims to please and wants everyone to leave with a tree that they absolutely love! Local delivery via pickup truck is available.

The net proceeds from Christmas Tree Sales will benefit the Friends of Belmont Football and high school football athletes from Belmont/Canterbury. The year-round fundraising efforts of FOBF pays the Shaker Regional School's financial obligation to the Gilford School District towards the Gilford-Belmont Cooperative Varsity Football Team.
