LACONIA — The 28th Annual Hospice Home and Garden Tour will be held on Wednesday, July 15, and is sponsored by Central New Hampshire VNA and Hospice. The tour includes two exquisite lake homes, a charming 1800's cape and garden and a private residence that was formerly a church.

Tickets for the tour are $40; enjoy lunch at the Pinckney Boathouse on the Brewster Academy campus, Wolfeboro, for an additional $15. Tickets for the tour and lunch are available at Black's Paper and Gift Store, 8 South Main Street, Wolfeboro. Arrangements for purchasing tickets by phone can be made by calling (603) 569-2729. Tickets for a Dine Around raffle are also available.

In addition to co-chairs Anne MacLellan and Suzanne Simmons, this year's tour committee includes Shirley Richardson, Hospice Advisory Committee Chair; Laura Spellman, Dine Around Raffle Chair; Ann Bastis, Hostess Committee Chair; Wendy Hutchinson, Accounting; Barbara Lobdell, Publicity; Brian Winslow, Fund Development Director for Central New Hampshire VNA & Hospice; Janice Michaud, Pete Peterman, Maureen Sherback and Chris Stevens.

Each year the proceeds from the event go toward supporting the work of Central New Hampshire VNA and Hospice which provides a wide range of services that enable people to receive health care, health promotion and disease prevention, clinical services and other support services in the comfort of their home. The Hospice program is a specialized kind of care for those facing a life-limiting illness, their families and their caregivers.
