LACONIA — Central New Hampshire VNA & Hospice will offer seven-week bereavement support groups in two locations during May and June. One group will meet in Laconia on Thursdays during late morning. The other group will meet in Wolfeboro on Thursdays during late afternoon. Each group consists of a series of 1 ½ hour meetings held each week for seven weeks.
Bereavement support groups give people the opportunity to learn about the grief process, to discuss ways of coping with their loss, and to gain the support of others in a safe and caring environment. Although grief is a unique experience through which each person finds their own path, there are common threads we all share when going through grief.
Pre-registration is required. The support group is offered free of charge and is open to the public. To register for the group and for specific dates, times, locations, and more information, please call or email Dan Kusch, Bereavement Coordinator at 524-8444 , ext. 2390, or dkusch@centralvna.org.
