PITTSFIELD — Songs such as "Somebody to Love" by Freddie Mercury, "Timeless to Me" from "Hairspray," sung by that infamous duo Angelo and Jean Gentile, "Carry On" by Fun and, of course, "Cabaret" will be the entertainment highlights for this year's benefit Cabaret For Cure, taking place Saturday, Sept. 20 at Scenic Theater.

Eighty percent of the ticket sales go to the Cancer Society, while 20 percent goes to the Pittsfield Players Sprinkler Fund. The raffle prize money go directly to ACS while the refreshment donations are split 50/50 between Players and ACS.
Raffle prizes include a handmade basket (size large) by Stacy Davis of Davis Fuels, a quilt by the ladies of The Dorcas Guild of Pittsfield's First Congregational Church, a Bose Bluetooth mini sound system donated by WOKQ 97.5, a pink peony framed photograph by Susan Bleckmann, a satchel handcrafted by Pam Wilson, donated by Sgt. Richard Walter Jr., a gift certificate to Edible Arrangements donated by Gay-Ann Cooney, tickets to "South Pacific" donated by The Pittsfield Players, tickets to "Suessical the Musical" donated by The Village Players, a gift certificate for a Christmas tree and decorated wreath ($75 value) donated by Sandy Burt and Neva Dun Farm.
The Cabaret was started with the generous help of sponsors like Darrah Enterprises, Deb and Ken Jones, The Pittsfield Players and The Suncook Valley Sun.
