The Boys and Girls Club of the Lakes Region and Alton Community Youth Activities have joined to tell Alton-Barnstead students about their “Summer Day Camp” that is available this summer for youth ages 6-15. Camp opens June 30 and will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through July and August.
The cost is $80 a week for the first child in a family and at a reduced rate for additional children from the same family. Scholarships and reduced rates are available by application. Day camp activities include exercise, swimming, drama, games and field trips. Staff members are trained in water safety, CPR and First Aid. Transportation to and from camp is available for a fee.
