CENTER HARBOR — Bayswater Book Co. of Center Harbor teams up with the Friends of the Moultonborough Library to kick off this season's Tea and Talk series with bestselling author Linda Greenlaw on Tuesday, April 29 at 12:30 p.m. at the Moultonborough Library. Greenlaw will be discussing her newest book, "Lifesaving Lessons." Tickets are $30, which includes the book price, tea & treats prepared by a guest chef.

The only female swordfish boat captain in the country and a survivor of the real Perfect Storm, Linda Greenlaw was not a woman to shy away from a challenge. "Lifesaving Lessons" tells the story of fifteen-year-old Mariah – the greatest force of nature Greenlaw had ever encountered. In this chronicle of becoming a mother to a troubled teenage daughter, Greenlaw battles the gale-force winds of life with a teenager, helps Mariah navigate a tremendously complex legal system, and learns what it means to be a mother to a girl for whom it really matters.

Linda Greenlaw is the author of three New York Times bestsellers: The Hungry Ocean, the Lobster Chronicles, and All Fishermen are Liars. She was the winner of the U. S. Maritime Literature Award in 2003, and the New England Book Award for nonfiction in 2004. Greenlaw was also featured in the hit Discovery Channel series "Swords: Life on the Line."

Space is limited and time is short. RSVP required, reserve your ticket in advance and join us for a Tea and Talk with the Author on Tuesday, April 29 at 12:30 p.m. at The Moultonborough Library.
