On Saturday, Oct. 18 the youth in grades K through 5 at Alton Central School will hold a dinner event to honor their grandparents (or significant others). This has now become an annual event.

The program will include a complete chicken dinner with beverages and desert, children telling stories about their grandparent (s) and Karaoke singing. This event will start at 5:30 p.m. at the Prospect Mountain High School cafeteria and is sponsored by the CYA and CoRe organizations. Again this year we have invited our ACS principal Bonnie Jean-Kuras to join us.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children and are available at the Alton Central Elementary School Library, the Profile Bank or by contacting 875-8221. Please note that checks should be made payable to “Alton Community Youth Activities”.
