The annual Winter Carnival is scheduled for Sunday, February 14 in Alton Bay. The Alton Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring events from 1 to 3 p.m. and the Alton Business Association is sponsoring activities from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Winter Carnival events include: D.J. music; pancake breakfast; kids ice fishing derby; family scavenger hunt; Great Alton Bay Bed Race; fun games for all ages; food tent; raffles; helicopter rides; ice princess; crazy hat contest; bob house decorating contest; sleigh rides; snowmobile demos; airplanes and much more.
