MOULTONBOROUGH — The 2nd annual Moultonborough Village Community Holiday Open House will be held on Friday, December 12. Several Moultonborough Village businesses will be opening their doors to the public to celebrate the holiday season. Events will be taking place throughout the day, with fun for all ages.

In addition to the "open houses" there will be a holiday decorating contest. The public will decide who has the best display. Stop in at any of the participating locations to pick up a "holiday décor" contest ballot. Ballots will be collected at Zelek & Associates throughout the day until 8 pm.

Participants in the open house include:

Beyond Obsessions – Open House until 7pm and will have a free hat and scarf set with any purchase from 5-7 pm.

Burns Automotive – Open house with cookies and cocoa.

Meredith Village Savings Bank – will have their Moultonboro Village Branch lobby open from 9 am to 5 pm and will be serving coffee and cookies with holiday lighting and decorations.

The Moultonborough Recreation Department will host an open house from 5:00-6:15pm. The festivities will begin with a reading of the Polar Express and will include decorations, refreshments, and a holiday craft project for the kids.

The Moultonborough Library will have an Open House from 11 am to 3 pm. At 6:30 pm a Holiday sing-a-long, Holiday goodies and a visit from Santa.

Lacewood Group – Open House from 1 pm to 5pm.

Moultonborough Harvest Church – Open House

Moultonboro United Methodist Church – Door will be open with Christmas movie, live nativity, gifts and refreshments.

Zelek & Associates – Open house from 4 pm to 8 pm serving hot cocoa, holiday cheer, appetizers, a Christmas Cookie Buffet and indoor and outdoor holiday decorations.
