WOLFEBORO — Have questions or concerns about the preservation of Wolfeboro’s architectural heritage? Are there special historic homes, buildings, neighborhoods, or landscapes that should be protected? Have thoughts about how that might be done?
There will be a chance to share views at a listening session on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at The Great Hall of Town Hall.
The meeting, sponsored by the Wolfeboro Planning Board and the Wolfeboro Heritage Commission, begins at 6 p.m.
Residents and visitors alike are invited to attend the session. The meeting will also be broadcast on YouTube by Wolfeboro Community Television.
The session will include a brief overview by Martha Cummings, of the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance, on some of the tools available to preserve historic elements in a community.
At the meeting, the Heritage Commission will introduce a brief survey asking respondents to share their thoughts on the topic. Copies can be filled out at the session, and the survey will also be available online.
The Planning Board and Heritage Commission are urging community members to attend and share their thoughts.
