After several successful fundraising events, the students of WRHS National Honor Society reached out to the district Family and Student Support Liaison, Jacqui McGettigan, to see how they could support Winnisquam families in need. Together they created a list of clothing items most often requested by the school nurses. The students spent an evening shopping and returned to school with two large shopping bags filled with the needed items.
According to McGettigan, “The Winnisquam Regional School District is so fortunate to have such thoughtful and kind young adults within our community. The generous giving of their time and profits will make a great impact on the lives of many students.”
