WOLFEBORO — Makers Mill will host two classes to foster creativity and skill development. Taught by instructor Nolan Gorg, a jack of all trades since youth, these classes offer a chance to explore metalworking and milling. One program will focus on metal inert gas welding and the other focuses on the bridgeport machine.

Intro to MIG Welding is a beginner-friendly class that covers everything needed to know about MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding, from theory to practice and safety. Participants will get hands-on experience and create their own metal flower art, making it perfect for newcomers or those needing a refresher. The class will be held Saturday, July 19, 3-6 p.m.

Intro to Milling & Machining - Bridgeport Machine is a comprehensive two-part class teaching participants how to set up and operate the versatile Bridgeport milling machine, a powerful tool for working with metal, wood, and plastics. The course covers basic and intermediate operations like drilling, side milling, slot milling, and using indicators, equipping participants with the skills for a variety of projects. It will be held Saturday, July 20, 3-7 p.m. and Sunday, July 21, 3-7 p.m.
