BELMONT — U.S. Army Master Sgt. Eric Marsh will read his self-composed tribute poetry on Veterans Day, Saturday, Nov. 11, for the third year in a row, at the Veterans Memorial.
A veteran of hot and cold wars, Marsh invites anyone who wants to share their own works or stories relating to veterans to join him or listen to others. Marsh will open the event at 11 a.m. and will remain at the memorial until the last participant presents.
Marsh will be in his Army dress green uniform, which still fits him.
A Belmont resident of 38 years, Marsh, 80, is the author of three published novels, the most recent of which, "In Service to her Country," was released in May.
"I look forward to meeting you all, veterans or not," Marsh said.
