LITCHFIELD — Prospect Mountain continued its strong run through Division III play with a disciplined road victory Friday night, relying on defensive pressure and balanced contributions to control the game from start to finish.

The Timberwolves set the tone early, forcing turnovers and limiting clean looks, particularly in the half court. Prospect Mountain’s defensive rotations and rebounding effort prevented any sustained momentum by the home team, allowing the Timberwolves to gradually build separation.

Junior Kourtney Kaplan once again led the way offensively, pacing Prospect Mountain with a high-energy performance that included scoring in transition and consistent pressure on both ends of the floor. Kaplan’s ability to attack gaps and finish through contact created opportunities for teammates throughout the night.

Senior captain Paige Harding provided steady leadership, impacting the game beyond the box score with on-ball defense, rebounding, and timely playmaking. Harding’s presence helped settle the game during key stretches and maintained the Timberwolves’ composure on the road.

Ava Foster added efficient scoring and strong perimeter defense, while Prospect Mountain’s supporting cast contributed through rebounding, ball movement, and defensive communication.

With the win, the Timberwolves remain firmly in the Division III mix, continuing to separate themselves through defensive consistency and unselfish play.
