MEREDITH — Gov. John Sununu has appointed Susan Slack to the New Hampshire Land and Community Heritage Investment Program Board of Directors.
The program provides funding for the preservation of land and significant cultural resources throughout the state.
Prior to joining the Planning Commission staff in December 2017, Slack served as principal planner at the New Hampshire Office of Energy and Planning. She holds a law degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, and was a member of the legal staff of the New Hampshire Municipal Association for 10 years before becoming a private-practice attorney focusing on municipal and land-use law.
Slack serves as Effingham’s town moderator, and is a founder and board member of the Green Mountain Conservation Group in the Ossipee watershed.
