HOLDERNESS — Squam Lakes Association will be planting 32 fruit and nut trees to fully designate its campus in Holderness as a Level 1 ArbNet certified arboretum on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will have an Indigenous tree walk, an edible orchard walk, a native NH tree walk, and kids activities.Â
The goal is for these additions to make the campus more inviting to visitors. Volunteers are needed to help with planting and creating an informational podium.Â
