BELMONT — Belknap County sheriff’s deputies recently captured a wanted parolee, featured as the state's fugitive of the week.

Kevin J. Thibaudeau, 41, was featured as the New Hampshire Department of Corrections Fugitive of the Week on Oct. 15. Now, he’s in custody.

On Oct. 16, deputies were conducting a search for a homeless encampment, when they located Thibaudeau asleep in a tent. During a resulting search, deputies discovered a set of metal knuckles in the pocket of his jeans. In addition to charges Thibaudeau faces for probation violation, he is facing an additional charge of being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.

He’s held at the Belknap County jail, according to a state Department of Corrections press release.

In the same release, corrections officers shared news of the arrest of another former Fugitive of the Week, Christopher L. Goodman, 50, featured on April 2.

On Oct. 11, police in Keene received a tip from a caller who reported seeing Goodman entering a local apartment. Officers located Goodman inside a residence, taking him into custody without incident. He’s held at the New Hampshire State Prison for Men awaiting a hearing to determine if his parole rights will be revoked.
