MOULTONBOROUGH ― The Moultonborough Public Library is moving forward with its strategic goal to maintain and optimize the library building and grounds. As part of this effort, the Program Room underwent several updates to create a more functional and inclusive space for the community.
These enhancements include repainting the interiorand updating the room's audio-visual technology. The new sound system features specialized equipment that allows patrons with hearing impairments to connect directly using their hearing aids or through a cochlear implant.
This accessibility and technology upgrade is made possible thanks to a Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities grant from the American Library Association and the support of the Trustees of the Moultonborough Public Library. In addition to the Program Room improvements, a new HVAC air handler unit was recently installed with funding primarily from a grant from the Association of Rural and Small Libraries and the Manton Foundation.
The Moultonborough Public Library has a full calendar of events planned for patrons in the Program Room, including a series of programs centered around the 250th American Anniversary celebrations this year.

The Moultonborough Public Library is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m.-7 p.m., and on Saturdays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.. It is located at 4 Holland St.
