Pleasant Street School joined with Granite United Way’s Day of Caring on Sept. 25. All 300 students and over 30 faculty and staff volunteered in the community. The students cleaned the WOW Trail, planted flowers at the Laconia library, cleaned the Laconia Fire Station and Boys & Girls Club, wrote thank you cards, read and sang to residents at Taylor Home and created ribbons for Breast Cancer Awareness. This is the fourth year PSS has participated in this state-wide activity. (Courtesy photos)
