LACONIA — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will host an informational meeting to discuss the rehabilitation of the bridge carrying U.S. Route 3 and NH Route 11 over Mile Hill Road to maximize its service life, minimize its life cycle cost, and maintain an efficient transportation network.

The proposed project improvements include replacement of the existing superstructure and bridge deck. Minor approach roadway work is anticipated and expected to be limited to pavement milling and overlay outside the bridge rehabilitation work limits.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 11, at Laconia City Hall. The public is encouraged to attend and participate. Citizens and leaders will have an opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts to ensure that the project decisions meet public transportation needs and community goals and protect and enhance the environment.
