The New Hampshire State Police continue their annual involvement supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign. Troopers will collaborate with area businesses and agencies to fill their cruisers with new toys.

During the months of November and December, the State Police will be hosting several events throughout the state to collect toys to distribute to children in need this holiday season. This initiative will begin on Saturday, Nov. 12, and will run through Friday, Dec. 9.

New, unwrapped toys can be donated at any of the scheduled toy collection events or at one of the collection sites, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local events and collection sites are listed below.

State Police toy collection events

Saturday, Dec. 3, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Walmart, 1458 Lake Shore Road, Gilford

Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Walmart, 683 Tenney Mountain Hwy, Plymouth

Other locations include Hooksett, Keene, Manchester, Concord, Gorham, North Conway, Epping, and Rochester

Marine Patrol Headquarters at 31 Dock Road in Gilford is also accepting donations, as are barracks statewide in Epping, Bedford, Keene, Concord, Tamworth, Twin Mountain and Concord
