MOULTONBOROUGH — The New Hampshire Boat Museum will host its popular Children’s Story Hour in collaboration with the Moultonborough Public Library on Thursday, June 11, from 11 a.m. to noon. Families with children ages 2 through 6 are invited to participate in this free program at the museum’s Moultonborough campus.
“NHBM is as exciting for children as it is for adults,” NHBM Programs Director Anne Lennon said. “Our story hour takes place in the heart of our exhibits, surrounded by our toy boat collection and full-size marina display. It is a wonderful way to introduce our youngest community members to the stories of our lakes.”
During the event, Moultonborough children’s librarian Sharon Gulla will read stories, followed by a fun craft activity. The program is designed as a drop-in experience and does not require advance registration.
This program is sponsored by Goodhue Boat Company, Eastern Propane and Oil, and North Water Marine.
NHBM’s 2026 season officially begins on Saturday, May 23. Following opening day, NHBM will be open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. To learn more about Children’s Story Hour and other upcoming programs, visit nhbm.org.
