Hebron — Join the Newfound Lake Region Association as we explore the arrival of spring during Newfound Nature Station, a free program that connects youth and families to the natural world.

This event will be held at Grey Rocks Conservation Center at 178 N Shore Road on Monday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to noon.

With the melting snow and warming weather, there is a lot going on outside. Plants and some animals are waking up, some animals are returning after a winter away, and everyone is getting moving. It’s a great time to get outside and look for the changes happening everyday in plants, the water, and on land. At Nature Station, participants will get an introduction to some of the exciting things happening for plants and wildlife right now, have a chance to explore the trails looking for evidence of those changes, and make a craft to take home. This program is free and open to all.

Newfound Nature Station, along with other family programs and events, is part of NLRA’s year-round work to encourage residents and visitors to enjoy the natural beauty around them, learn more about the environment and how to protect it, and fall in love with the Newfound Watershed.
