MOULTONBOROUGH — The library is moving things around and is creating space for tweens/teens in the youth area, and providing places to study and also to hang out with friends. The adult patron computers have been moved to the front room where the fireplace is and also creating spaces for people to work. With more people working from home, we want to accommodate people who need a quieter place to work. There are two quiet spaces (Nancy McCue Room and the Small Study Room) that people can book for a three hour time slot, and one room (Heritage Room) that is set off to the side that can be booked. This room is good for smaller groups to sit around a table and chat.

Technology Drop-ins are held on Mondays at 2 p.m. and Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. There is no set topic, and is open to anyone who has a tech question or needs help with a device.

Technology classes are held on the 1st Tuesday at 10 a.m. and the 3rd Tuesday at 2 p.m. The next class is Tuesday, Feb. 15. This month’s class is all about Hoopla. It is recommended you register for these classes so the library can plan accordingly.

The library’s ongoing adult programs in February include: Thursday Movie Night (Feb. 3 at 6 p.m.), and La La Land; Culinary Adventures (Feb. 14 at 6 p.m.) and the sharing of dishes made with chocolate; Mystery Book Club (Feb. 16 at 10:30 a.m. in person & 7 p.m. on Zoom) and Barbara Hambly’s, Free Man of Color will be discussed.
