CANTERBURY ― Join juried artist Molly Grant at her studio in Canterbury for a “Make Your Own Leather Bag” Class.
This workshop will be on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Those who wish to take the class must sign up by Saturday, April 25.
Join Grant in her well-equipped studio for a one-day workshop to learn the basics of working with fine leathers. Students will develop a bag of their choice and learn pattern-making skills while using an industrial sewing machine to conceptualize and complete their project.
Depending on the styles they choose, students will be able to make and take home one to two bags of their own creation. Please bring a bagged lunch and drink as students will be given a lunch break.
