MEREDITH — The Meredith Public Library and Altrusa International of Meredith will be hosting Mel Allen to speak about his recent book “Here in New England” on Saturday, Sept. 12.
“Listening to New England” is a 45-minute talk with a slide presentation. Drawing from his nearly half-century of reporting and writing about the unique people and places of New England for Yankee Magazine, he will let attendees see and feel the region in a unique way. Join the library for this free afternoon of entertainment and refreshments.
The author will be available to answer questions and sign books after the talk. This talk will be on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 1 p.m. at the Meredith Public Library, at 91 Main St.
