The Skenesboro Ship Building will be discussed at the "Let Freedom Ring? or The Times that Try Men's Souls" at Meredith Community Center on Tuesday, July 7. This original program will be presented by local historian Rudy VanVeghten, a member of the Meredith Historical Society’s executive board. It is part of an ongoing series of America250 programs this year presented in partnership with Meredith Public Library. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for light refreshments, and the program begins at 7 p.m. All programs of the society are free, and all are welcome.
