MEREDITH — The League of NH Craftsmen Meredith Fine Craft Gallery would like to recognize the talent of Nancy Adams, a League-juried artist who has new work in the Gallery.
Adams creates her encaustic paintings by applying fiber reactive dyes to a cloth which is then glued to a piece of wood. Melted beeswax and damar resin are placed on the surface and manipulated to create textures and pictures. The paintings reflect both real and imagined scenes inspired by her travels.
Stop in the gallery to fully appreciate the work of this talented artist. To inquire about her work, call 603-279-7920, visit the website at http://meredith.nhcrafts.org/, or stop into the gallery at 279 Daniel Webster Highway, Meredith.
