MEREDITH — Altrusa International Club of Meredith awarded scholarships to three outstanding adults who are furthering their education. Altrusa awards scholarships to non-traditional students, 23 years and older.
The Dr. Jeanette Ritzenthaler Scholarship Award was established in memory of the founder of the Meredith Altrusa Club. This year’s award recipient is Sara Hahn Pinkham of New Hampton. Sara is pursuing a Masters of Education in School Counseling.
The Marian Touhey Scholarship was established in memory of Marian Touhey a longtime member of Altrusa. Marian served as the Altrusa treasurer and co-chair of the scholarship committee. This year’s award recipient is Megan Magrauth of New Hampton. Megan also received the LaPoint Scholarship in memory of Jackie LaPoint of Meredith. Megan is pursuing a graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Masters of Education.
Also honored with a scholarship is Dorothy Crowell of Meredith. Dorothy is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
