PLYMOUTH — Plymouth residents are invited to attend Meet the Plymouth Candidates on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 6:30 p.m. at Pease Public Library.

The public forum will give voters an opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking local office. Each candidate will offer a brief introduction, followed by a moderated question-and-answer session featuring questions submitted by community members and prepared by the organizing committee.

The forum will be recorded and broadcast by Pemi-Baker TV and streamed online. Viewing links will be available on the Town of Plymouth website, plymouthnh.gov, and on YouTube.

The Plymouth Town Election will be held Tuesday, March 10

Candidates and positions on the ballot include:

  • Selectboard (2 seats, three-year terms): Zachary Tirrell, Maryann Barnsley
  • Town Treasurer (three-year term): Carol Geraghty
  • Supervisor of the Checklist (six-year term): Mary Nelson
  • Trustee of Trust Funds (three-year term): Mike Currier
  • Library Trustees (2 seats, three-year terms): Jason Koren, Joyce Weston
  • Cemetery Trustee (three-year term): Douglas McLane
  • Planning Board (2 seats, three-year terms): Thomas Newcomb, John Christ
  • Planning Board (2 seats, two-year terms): Neil McIver, Molly McCahan
  • Planning Board (one-year term): William Bolton

The event is free and open to the public. Residents are encouraged to attend in person or watch online to learn more ahead of the March election. For more information, visit plymouthnh.gov.
