WOLFEBORO — The Lakes Region Household Hazardous Product Facility will hold its last monthly collection of household hazardous waste for the year from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Obtain member passes from Wolfeboro solid waste prior to collection day. Alton passes are available at Alton Transfer Station. Residents from other towns may take part for a fee.
Oil-based paints, stains, automotive fluids and cleaning products are common items collected. Placing containers in a cardboard box will speed up drop-off. Latex paint cannot be collected.
The first collection next year is on Saturday, May 3, 2024. The facility is at 404 Beach Pond Road. Call 603-651-7530 for more information.
