MEREDITH ― A special concert by the High Range Bluegrass Band will be performed at the Interlakes Community Auditorium in Meredith on Friday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m. Proceeds for this special concert will benefit the Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra’s annual Concerto Competition, which promotes young classical musicians and encourages their musical advancement by providing an opportunity to rehearse and perform with a symphony orchestra.

The opening concert of LRSO, Saturday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m., at the Hanaway Theater at Plymouth State University, will feature Apollo Moon, the 2026 Concerto Competition Winner.

For 27 years, High Range Bluegrass Band has built a distinctive sound combining instrumental excellence, fine vocals and award-winning original songs heard on radio worldwide. They have shared stages with artists including Tim O’Brien, Ralph Stanley, Lori McKenna and Lloyd Maines, and performed at venues and festivals throughout New England, Nashville, and beyond. Expect an evening that is highly musical, energetic and thoroughly entertaining.
