MOULTONBOROUGH — The Lakes Region Food Pantry is seeking the donation of a truck for furniture removal. LRFP offers food, food vouchers, personal care products, a children’s summer lunch program, and a children’s sneaker and backpack program among other community services. LRFP also runs a thrift shop in Moultonborough, whose proceeds directly benefit the food pantry. Among the many items the thrift shop accepts, it is donations of furniture and other heavy items that require a truck to pick up. Either a box truck or pick up truck would be incredibly helpful in allowing LRFP to accomplish this goal. Further, if you have a truck and would like to donate your time and manpower, LRFP would love to hear from you as well. If you are willing to help, contact Amy Norton at 603-986-0357. Your donation is tax deductible and will be used to assist our fellow community members in need.
