LACONIA — The Kiwanis Club of Laconia will host its second annual Free Throw Competition, inviting all Lakes Region boys and girls ages 7 to 13 to participate.
The free competition will take place Saturday, March 16, at the Laconia Memorial Middle School. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by a warm-up session at 8:45 a.m., with the main competition kicking off promptly at 9 a.m.
Participants are encouraged to pre-register early to secure a special gift (while supplies last) by emailing kiwanishoop@gmail.com or texting 603-630-5531; walk-ins also welcome.
The event will benefit the Lou Athanas Basketball Youth League, Gilford Parks & Recreation League and Franklin Parks & Recreation League scholarships.
Betty Ballantyne, president of the Laconia Kiwanis Club, said, “This event embodies our commitment to supporting the youth of our community while fostering a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship.”
