GILFORD ― Everyone is invited to attend the Opechee Garden Club monthly Meeting and Craft Garden Workshop. The event will be held on Monday, May 4, at 12:30 p.m. beginning with coffee and conversation.
A brief business meeting will kick-off the program, followed by the presentation. The May program and presentation will be led by Opechee Garden Club member Heather Gockl of Meredith. Gockl is an experienced and highly knowledgeable gardener who will demonstrate how to add natural elements and garden accents to your home and garden including creating a beautiful, natural trellis using gathered materials perfect for sweet peas.
Make your own transportable trellis to take home with a pot of young sweet pea plants for your garden.
Those who wish to participate in the craft at Gilford Community Church must RSVP as space and materials are limited to 30 crafters. Plan to bring garden gloves and pruners. Call Patti at 978-697-5573 for space reservations.
