MEREDITH — Inter-Lakes Middle High School raised nearly $19,000 for Special Olympics in the Winni Dip, and was honored as the third highest fundraising school with ILMHS School Resource Officer Keith True honored as the second highest individual fundraiser.
With 39 participating staff and students, this event exemplified an extraordinary collaboration. In advance of the lake festivities, students from across clubs (Future Business Leaders of America, Unified Club and an art student) worked together to create a special ILMHS Winni Dip T-shirt with the theme of “Jungle Safari.”
For the second consecutive year student Noelle LaPlante designed the T-shirt artwork capturing the spirit of the cause, while the FBLA Club created the T-shirt layout and printing while the Unified Club and other participants wore the T-shirts to dip into Lake Winnipesaukee. This is a special fundraiser that brought people together in the best possible way.
