MEREDITH — Congratulations to Inter-Lakes freshman, Trace Taylor, for being chosen as the March Laker of the Month.
Taylor is an absolute joy to be around. He comes to school with a positive attitude, works hard and perseveres even when encountering a challenge. He is a kind soul who shows his kindness in ways that not many would notice, unless they have witnessed it.
During one of his seventh grade classes, a student dropped materials and Taylor was the only student to step up and help pick up the items in a quiet way. During a snowstorm, he cleaned off staff members' cars without being asked. These actions embody the old adage that, "Integrity is what you do when no one else is watching."
Outside of school, Taylor is an avid and accomplished motocross racer.
