GILMANTON ― The Gilmanton Community Farmers Market is officially starting their season with an opening day on Sunday, June 7, running weekly Sundays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Oct. 11.

On opening day, there will be live music and food trucks. Returning for a sixth season, the market is located alongside Route 140 across from The Gilmanton Elementary School. The market is set up on the beautiful grounds of the Year-Round library.

This season, on top of the regular Sunday markets, they're holding two open markets and craft fairs, one Christmas in July on July 19 and their end of the season Harvest Fest market on Oct. 11.

The market weekly consists of fresh vegetables, baked goods (nut free, vegan, gluten-free), fruits, maple syrup, honey, soaps, lotions, beef, pork, chicken, venison, talented crafters, artists and more.
