GILFORD — The Gilford Candlelight Stroll Committee will host the Annual Candlelight Stroll through the village on Saturday, Dec. 14, 5-7 p.m.
The village will come alive with the warm glow of candles lining the stroll route, creating an unforgettable holiday atmosphere. From festive music to sweet treats, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
The Gilford Community Band will set the holiday spirit with a concert at Gilford Community Church at 4 p.m. Then, starting at 5 p.m., take in the sights and sounds of the season as while riding through the village in a horse carriage or walking on foot.
Step back in time with tours of the Grange, Union Meeting House, and Rowe House. Sip on hot cocoa, munch on cookies, and make crafts at the library. Gather around the bonfire or toast marshmallows over a cozy campfire in Gilford Village Field. Be sure to keep an eye out for Frosty the Snowman — and don’t miss a chance to say hello to Santa Claus.
Dec. 21 is the back-up date in case of inclement weather.
