GILFORD — Gilford High School will host an induction ceremony for the Gilford Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 5:30 p.m., in the school’s gymnasium, immediately following the homecoming volleyball game.
This year’s Hall of Fame inductees are:
Joan Forge – A trailblazing coach in volleyball and softball, since 1976 Forge has dedicated her career to mentoring and developing young athletes. Her leadership and passion have not only led her teams to victory but have also inspired countless students to pursue excellence.
Dave Pinkham – Known for his exceptional coaching in soccer and tennis, Pinkham has been a cornerstone of Gilford’s athletic success. His strategic brilliance and unwavering commitment to his players have made him the face of Gilford soccer for 47 years.
Grant Workman – A dual-sport standout in golf and tennis, Workman exemplifies the spirit of Gilford athletics. His skills and sportsmanship have set a high standard for future generations, solidifying his place in Gilford’s storied athletic tradition.
