MEREDITH — The Friends of the Meredith Library will host its June book sale on Thursday, June 26, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Friday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Saturday, June 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The sale will be held in the function room with plenty of room for the boxes upon boxes of books — all  sorted by category and up on tables for attendees’ browsing convenience. The library is located on 91 Main St. and the parking lot located at  the back of the library offers wheelchair access and additional parking.

The mission of the Friends of the Meredith Library is to promote library involvement in the community and community involvement in the library.  Proceeds from our three annual book sales benefit our patrons in many ways.  They provide funds for children and adult reading programs, passes to the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, Castle in the Clouds, various museums, the after school  and summer reading programs.
