MEREDITH — This month’s art show at VynnArt Gallery, located at 30 Main St., Meredith, runs through Sunday, Oct. 7, featuring pieces from more than 25 local artists.
Inspired by the bounty of the fall harvest, life on the farm, and seasonal splendor, the exhibit features works in oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylics and mixed media.
From fruits and vegetables to animals and livestock, to barns and farm landscapes, the show celebrates the natural beauty of New Hampshire farms, according to gallery owner Vynnie Hale.
“Our local Lakes Region artists, just like our local farmers, have worked hard to produce works to be enjoyed by all,” Hale said. “We hope the community will come to this show and support the arts in the Lakes Region.”
Featured artists include Marie Kelly of Meredith, Ed Rushbrook of Gilford, B.J. Eckardt of Belmont, Rob Caron of Meredith, Barbara McClintock of Gilford, Jackie Roy of Meredith, Gerri Harvey of Laconia, Richard Mundy of Meredith, Jean Kennedy of Gilford, Steven Hall of Laconia, Wendy Wilson of Laconia, and JoAnne Reynolds of Meredith — and that is just half of the artists whose works are showcased in the exhibit.
The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. For more information, call 603-279-0057.
